These are website terms, not the dispatch contract

Using this site, applying for dispatch or asking for a factoring quote doesn't create a dispatch agreement. If you decide to work with us, we send a separate written dispatch agreement, and that agreement governs the service: the fee, what we do, and how either side can end it. If anything on this site differs from a signed agreement, the agreement wins.

What we are, and what we are not

BuddyLoads is a truck dispatch service. We are not a freight broker, a motor carrier, a factoring company, an insurer, a law firm or a tax adviser. When we find a load for a carrier, the broker sends the rate confirmation to that carrier, in the carrier's company name, and the carrier decides whether to sign it. We don't accept or sign loads on a carrier's behalf.

No promise of loads, rates or income

Freight markets change. Nothing on this site is a promise or guarantee of any number of loads, any rate, any weekly or yearly income, or any result. Rates, fees and figures shown as EXAMPLE are illustrations, not offers or predictions.

Guides and calculators are information, not advice

Our guides, dictionary and calculators are general information to help you think through business decisions. They are not legal, tax, accounting, insurance, financial or compliance advice for your situation. Calculator results are estimates based on the numbers and assumptions you enter. Regulations, prices and market data change; we date what we publish and update it, but we can't promise every page is current or error-free. Check important decisions with a qualified professional and with the original sources we link.

Partner links

Some pages link to partners such as our factoring partner, Vertical Identity and TruckClub, and we may be paid when you use them; see our disclosure. Their products, prices and terms are theirs, not ours, and your dealings with them are between you and them. We are not responsible for third-party websites or their content.

Forms and the information you send

When you submit a form, you agree that the information is accurate and that it is yours to give, and that we may contact you as described on the form and in our privacy policy. Please don't send passwords, bank account numbers or other sensitive financial details through our forms.

Using the site

You may read, print and share pages for your own business use, and link to them. You may not:

• Copy the site's content, design or calculators to republish them as your own, or sell them.
• Scrape the site in bulk, or interfere with its security, forms or performance.
• Submit false applications, spam, or anything unlawful through our forms.
• Pretend to be BuddyLoads or suggest that we endorse you.

The site's text, graphics, calculators and the BuddyLoads name and logo belong to us or our licensors. Other names and trademarks mentioned on the site belong to their owners, and mentioning them doesn't mean they endorse us or partner with us unless we say so.

Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't promise the site will always be available or free of errors.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, BuddyLoads is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content or calculators. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Your responsibility for your business

You remain responsible for your own operating authority, insurance, safety and compliance obligations, taxes, and every load you accept. Reading a guide or using a calculator on this site doesn't shift any of those responsibilities to us. Before you sign a lease, a factoring agreement, a rate confirmation or any other contract, read it yourself and get professional advice where the stakes are high.

Indemnity

If you misuse the site, break these terms or break the law through the site, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, losses and claims that result for BuddyLoads, to the extent the law allows.

Electronic communications

When you send us a form or email, you agree that we can reply electronically, and that notices we send you by email satisfy any requirement that they be in writing, unless the law says otherwise. You can tell us at any time to stop contacting you; see the privacy policy for how.

Suspension of access

We may limit or block access to the site or our forms for anyone who misuses them, for example by sending spam, automated submissions or attacks. We may also change, pause or remove any part of the site, including calculators and guides, at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where BuddyLoads is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the site that can't be settled informally will be handled by a court with jurisdiction over it. If you are a customer, the dispute terms in your signed dispatch agreement apply to the service instead.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, and the unenforceable part is applied as closely to its intent as the law allows. Our not enforcing a term right away doesn't waive it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
