New here? Use them in this order
- 1. Find your cost per mile. Every other number depends on it. Add your payments, insurance, fuel and maintenance with the cost per mile calculator, then save it to My Truck.
- 2. Check what a load pays. Put any rate con through the rate per mile calculator and compare the all-in rate, empty miles included, with your cost.
- 3. Plan for the big bills. Set a monthly maintenance reserve and sanity-check your premium with the insurance estimator.
Weighing a lease-purchase offer? Run it through the deal analyzer before you sign anything. Running a 26 ft box truck or a hotshot? The box truck profit and hotshot rate calculators are built around those trucks, and work out what each run has to pay before it is worth taking.
Calculator questions
Q01Are these calculators free?
Yes. Every calculator is free to use, with no sign-up and no email required. You can copy a link with your inputs or print the result as a statement.
Q02Where is my data stored?
On your device. Your My Truck profile and calculator inputs are saved in your own browser so you don't have to type them again. We don't receive them unless you send us an application or a quote request.
Q03How accurate are the estimates?
As accurate as the numbers you put in. Defaults are labeled examples or come from dated public sources such as ATRI and DAT, and each calculator shows its formula and assumptions. Use the results to plan, then check big decisions with your own records and a professional.
Want the reasoning behind the numbers? The owner-operator guides explain rates, costs and contracts in plain words, and what dispatch costs shows our fee on your gross.
Know your numbers? Put a dispatcher on them.
